Patrick joined Defaqto in May 2013. His key responsibilities include reviewing and developing Defaqto’s Diamond and Risk Ratings for funds, producing Defaqto Fund and ESG Reviews, writing publications and commentary on key issues within the fund and investment areas and working on bespoke case studies and consultancy projects for fund managers and advisers. Patrick also represents Defaqto at industry forums and events.

Prior to joining Defaqto, he worked for Bank of Butterfield, Close Brothers and Watson Wyatt Investment Consulting, where he researched and selected funds and fund managers, across several asset classes. In addition, Patrick produced economic and financial market commentaries and articles on a regular basis and spoke at industry conferences for those firms. Patrick is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
